Poised and perpetually on-point, she's a vocalist, songwriter, actress, pianist, lyricist and ice skater here, organizing Coldblooded like a book of short stories with illustrations. Alicia's mezzo-soprano voice shades each track in diverse color, painting with flips, loops, crossovers and combinations borrowed from her ice skating technique. Bold musical choices and unapologetic confidence bring fire to this collection. Reverb, high and low pass filters, and digital manipulations deliver other-wordly frequencies.
